La scorsa estate, Valve ha annunciato l’arrivo della propria “console” portatile: Steam Deck. Fin da subito questo progetto ha lasciato a bocca aperta tutti i videogiocatori, emozionati dall’idea di poter giocare a importanti titoli tripla A ovunque vogliano. Le prime note amare, oltre al prezzo decisamente non irrisorio, sono arrivate nel momento in cui l’azienda di Gabe Newell ha chiarito la questione sul catalogo di videogiochi. Su Steam Deck, infatti, non tutta la Libreria di Steam sarà al 100% compatibile, ma questo non ci dovrebbe preoccupare troppo.

La compatibilità non sembra essere un problema per Steam Deck!

SteamDB ha appena rivelato il primo gruppo di giochi verificati dal sistema “Deck Verified”, che si occupa di etichettare tutti i titoli completamente godibili sulla console. Questi 38 videogiochi “verificati” sono accompagnati da altri 24 nomi che, invece, sono definiti come “giocabili“. Per quanto riguarda questi ultimi, Valve ha avvertito che sarà necessario qualche piccolo accorgimento del giocatore per un’esperienza ottimale. Nulla di troppo invasivo, non preoccupatevi, potreste giusto ritrovarvi a dover cambiare manualmente qualche impostazione grafica. Affianco a questi due gruppi ne troviamo anche un terzo, per fortuna molto più piccolo. Sto parlando di quei giochi classificati come assolutamente “non compatibili“, ma che per ora contiene solo 5 titoli, praticamente tutti per VR.

Tra i titoli verificati, fa senza dubbio molto piacere vedere titoli ampiamente apprezzati dall’utenza di Steam, come Death Stranding, The Binding of Isaac, Hollow Knight e Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Tra quelli giocabili figurano Nier:Automata, Valheim, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt e Inscryption, videogioco indie cupo e misterioso, addirittura candidato al premio GOTY dei Dice Awards 2022. È molto strano, invece, vedere Persona 4: Golden nella lista dei videogiochi non compatibili, in mezzo a 4 titoli VR. Ma ecco a voi le tre liste complete (fino ad ora).
